Purpose of Job
Improve the overall health of the communities we serve by providing primary administrative support services for Executive Director, Leadership team and Administrative Services Coordinator as directed as follows:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Provides services with professional demeanor.
· Greets visitors upon arrival, monitors visitor waiting area for cleanliness and security.
· Provides administrative support, operations, and various clerical services.
· Assists in ordering inventory and distribution of printed material for public relations/development and administration.
· Completes a variety of assignments simultaneously, with ability to work according to deadlines and by providing additional work hours if needed.
· Participates in the coordination of CHAS administrative functions.
· Performs other duties as assigned or as needed.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma.
Experience: Minimum three years receptionist and/or administrative assistant experience; demonstrated competency in personal computers and related software, including MSWord, Publisher, Excel, and Access required.
Other Skills: Effective oral and written communication skills, including excellent telephone etiquette. Exceptional customer service, time management, and multi-tasking skills required.
Physical Demands Administrative Receptionist is required to stand, sit, and be mobile one-third to two-thirds of the time. Required to use hands to finger, handle or feel over two-thirds of the time; while reaching with hands and arms occurs one-third of the day. Climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling or crouching occurs less than one-third of the time. Communicating by talking / hearing occurs over two-thirds of the day. Amount of time spent lifting or exerting force is about 50% for up to 10 pounds and less than one-third of the time up to 25 – 40 pounds. Rarely is there a need to lift more than 41 pounds.
