Purpose of Job
Improve the overall health of the communities we serve by providing general maintenance services and repairs to ensure safe and efficient operations of clinic facilities, and to maintain a comfortable environment for patients, employees, medical staff and the public.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Maintain Landscaping by: cutting and edging grass, shoveling snow, weeding, pruning shrubs and trees annually, removing underbrush, litter and dead leaves, fertilizing lawns and plants, water and cultivating.
- Ensure that parking areas, patios and walkways are clean and well-maintained
- Ensure outside lighting is working properly, replacing light bulbs as necessary.
- Make basic repairs to plumbing and electrical systems.
- Make basic repairs to facilities and equipment.
- Complete minor remodeling projects upon request.
- Paint facilities as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience: Maintenance experience preferred. Basic computer skills possess ability to operate and maintain mechanical/electrical equipment. Possess valid driver’s license.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Demands
The maintenance position requires standing, moving, crouching and crawling. Requires the use of hands and arms to reach and the use of fingers and hands to manipulate. Lifting 10 lbs. Frequently, periodically 50+lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
